Different file format
Honista is an Android package. iOS only installs its own signed app format, so an Android file simply cannot open on an iPhone — there is no converter or workaround for that.
Looking for Honista on iOS? Here is the straight answer, what your options are on an iPhone right now, and where the working build actually lives today.
Honista ships as an Android package. iPhones cannot install that format, so the button below gives you the Android build — use it on an Android phone or tablet.
Three reasons, and none of them are going away soon.
Honista is an Android package. iOS only installs its own signed app format, so an Android file simply cannot open on an iPhone — there is no converter or workaround for that.
Apple only allows apps through the App Store, and modified clients are not accepted there. Without a signed developer certificate, nothing installs — and those certificates get revoked quickly.
Sites offering a Honista iPhone download almost always want a survey, a payment, or your login details. There is no legitimate iOS build, so treat every one of them as a scam.

No modified client, but you are not out of options either. These three cover most of what people install Honista for in the first place.
Open the site in a browser and add it to your Home Screen. Stories load without an install.
Read receipts, activity status and story hiding are all in the official app's own settings.
Even an old spare phone runs Honista Lite fine on 2 GB of RAM.
If a page offering "Honista for iPhone" does any of these, close it.
No real download is ever gated behind a survey, a quiz or a "human verification" step. That page earns money whether or not you get a file — and you never do.
Username, password or a verification code — that is account theft, plainly. We never ask for them, and neither does any legitimate download.
Profiles can hand over control of your device to a stranger. Never install one to get an app, and check Settings → General → VPN & Device Management to remove any you already added.
Honista is free everywhere it exists. Anyone charging for it is selling you something that isn't theirs, and usually isn't real.

The five we get asked most by iPhone users.
No. Honista exists only as an Android build. Any site claiming to offer an iPhone version is not connected to this project, and we would recommend leaving it.
No. The two systems use completely different app formats and code signing. Tools that promise a conversion do not work, and are usually just a wrapper around adware.
Nothing is planned. Apple does not allow modified clients on the App Store, and certificate-based side-loading gets revoked within days, so a build would break almost immediately. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
Delete it, then open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and remove any profile you don't recognise. If you entered your account details anywhere, change that password immediately and turn on two-factor authentication.
The official app's own privacy settings cover read receipts and activity status, and the web version in Safari handles browsing without an install. For the full feature set you would need an Android device.
The current build is ready to go — free, ad-free and no root required. On a lower-end phone, try Honista Lite instead.
